Corrections Policy
AI News Lead is committed to accuracy. When we get something wrong, we fix it openly and promptly. This page explains how we handle errors in our published content.
Types of Corrections
Correction
A correction addresses a factual error in the original article. When a correction is made, we add a clearly visible note at the bottom of the article stating what was incorrect and what the accurate information is. The note includes the date the correction was made.
Update
An update adds new information that has become available since the article was originally published. Updates are noted at the bottom of the article with the date and a description of what was added.
Clarification
A clarification addresses language in the original article that, while not factually wrong, was misleading or could reasonably be misunderstood. Clarifications are noted in the same manner as corrections.
Retraction
In rare cases where an article is found to be fundamentally flawed or based on information that cannot be verified, we will retract the article entirely. Retracted articles are removed from active publication, and a retraction notice is published explaining why.
How to Report an Error
If you believe an article on AI News Lead contains a factual error, please contact us at support@ainewslead.com with the subject line “Correction Request” and include the article URL, the specific claim you believe is incorrect, and any supporting evidence.
We review all correction requests and aim to respond within 48 hours. If a correction is warranted, it will be applied to the article and noted publicly.
Our Commitment
We do not silently edit or delete articles to remove errors. All corrections are made transparently, with a public note describing the change. We believe accountability is a core part of responsible journalism.
